The design concept emphasizes external brightness and internal utility, rooted in a minimalist aesthetic. The open-plan layout and seamless flow highlight spatial harmony and flexibility. The design carefully accommodates the home’s structural elements, pairing wood veneer finishes with terrazzo flooring. This thoughtful combination of materials and colors results in a modern living space that balances practicality and aesthetic beauty. To address the structural beam running across the ceiling, the design avoids full enclosure from the top of the TV wall to the foyer. Instead, it employs a layered height difference to subtly conceal the beam, accentuated by curved lines on the TV wall to stretch the horizontal visual perspective, effectively diminishing the beam’s prominence. The beam extending from the living room to the children’s room window is clad in wooden materials, harmonizing with the platform through thoughtful color, shape, and lighting choices. In the bedroom, the headboard features a curved wall finished with artistic paint, showcasing intricate textures and hues. This is paired with a more understated tone to balance the design, creating both a visual focal point and a sense of spatial expansion. The cabinets in this project are crafted using E1-compliant materials that meet EU standards, combined with 30–40% green building materials to provide an environmentally friendly space without compromising on quality. The interior walls are finished with low-formaldehyde water-based paint, creating a toxin-free and reassuring living environment. To ensure accessibility for all users, the entrance foyer boasts an 80 cm clear width, facilitating easy movement for the elderly, wheelchair users, or when transporting goods. The space has been thoughtfully adjusted to create a universally accessible and age friendly environment.
