timeless symbol
The intention behind the concept was to design an object that captures the essence of spaces. Three sides are bounded, while the other three are completely open. The boundaries of outside and inside, bottom and top are blurred. Simply as in architecture: exterior, interior and transitional spaces interact and cannot exist without each other. In an abstract way, it has a door, a window, a roof, as on the early buildings from the history of mankind. This is a miniature sculpture with an artistic value and means something different from every angle.
The dimensions of the Arch Design Award Trophies are 25 x 25 x 25 mm and made by 90% recycled metals (brass, stainless steel, copper) with a multiple axes precision CNC milling technology while achieving tolerances as small as ±0.005 mm. The Trophies have high tensile strength, ductility, wear and corrosion resistance at high temperatures. Exceptionally shiny and smooth surface finishes thanks to the handmade high quality polishing. Winners will receive the Metal Trophies in a beautiful black and light grey display box.

The Trophy body is made by black and transparent high quality crystal glass blocks with the engraved 3D silhouette of the iconic Arch Design Award logo.
