"Urban Flexscape" combines minimalist color tones and the use of colorful tiles to showcase the characteristics of modern urban style, while also bringing vitality and personalized design elements to the space, allowing residents to experience comfort and enjoyment.
In the Taipei metropolitan area, it is a tiny house of 19 square meters for a couple and their children. The main color tones are neutral, such as white and wood, complemented by distinctive floral tiles, creating a clean and bright atmosphere. The minimalist color scheme helps create a sense of spaciousness and provides residents with a relaxing environment.
Against this minimalist backdrop, the use of colorful tiles adds vibrancy and interest to the space. Colorful tiles are applied at the entrance foyer, highlighting the joyous mood upon returning home.
The main living areas such as the living room, dining area, and kitchen are designed to be open-plan, enhancing the sense of space and facilitating communication. Clever furniture arrangement and partition design enable multifunctionality; for example, the sofa bed in the living room can serve as a guest bed or a leisure area for family gatherings.
The children's area features bright colors and playful design elements, such as walls adorned with colorful tiles or designated play corners, providing a pleasant and safe environment for the child's growth.
Personalized home decor elements beloved by the couple and child are incorporated throughout the space, along with meaningful decorations, fostering a warm and cozy home atmosphere. Additionally, considering the diverse needs of the family members, the design emphasizes practicality and comfort, enabling them to live, work, and relax freely and comfortably in the space.
