The site is a new apartment. The name of the project, "Between Three Generations", comes from the age range of the family. The elderly want the home to display the classical beauty of Chinese style, while the younger generation expects a modern and stylish look. The design team struck a balance between old and new, traditional and modern aesthetics. The building materials, colors, and design are in line with the aesthetics of each family member, creating a warm home for the extended family.
The project is built with zero-formaldehyde and zero-toluene adhesives and low-formaldehyde eco-friendly materials, aiming to provide a friendly experience for the residents. The lines and warm wood veneer convey a recessed oriental look, while the layout facilitates air circulation. The project is set against a backdrop of cultural imagery to create an artistic design in the "New Chinese" aesthetic.
