Situated along Taipei City's riverfront, this single-level unit boasts a prime location that embraces the surrounding beauty. The designer has crafted a spacious, interconnected layout that harmonizes with the riverside scenery, achieved through extensive use of continuous windows. These windows invite natural light and offer captivating views, drawing attention to the changing seasons and enhancing the space's ambiance.
The design concept creates a living space that fosters a close bond with nature, turning it into an oasis for leisure. Inspired by the meandering lines of waterways, the design incorporates carefully curated interior elements, including installations, furniture, and decor. The open-plan layout—comprising the living room, dining area, study, and multifunctional zone—eliminates partitions, allowing these areas to flow freely and offering residents full immersion in the riverside views. Distinctive forms and custom-made furniture add luxury, individuality, and exclusivity to the space.
In the 280-square-meter flat, natural stones create rich vertical layers, adding depth and character while allowing sunlight and air to filter through, creating a comfortable indoor environment. The bespoke sofa, echoing the river’s curvy line, serves as a focal point for social interaction and relaxation. The dining area exudes refined charm, with a custom 5-meter dining table, vibrant wallpapers, and riverside views as the centerpiece. The ceiling design above the central island, combining stainless steel and mirrors, creates a stunning visual effect that reflects light and outdoor scenery. Sleek cabinets enhance the aesthetic further.
The design captures a vacation-style atmosphere, with the master suite offering flexibility through movable partitions. When open, the grand bedroom enjoys an uninterrupted river view; when closed, a guestroom emerges, providing both privacy and convenience, adapting to the occupants' changing needs.
