This 330-square-meter residence, nestled in mountain greenery, offers panoramic views and an immersive, nature-inspired design. The space integrates humanistic and aesthetic elements, fostering discovery through subtle, metaphorical approaches that connect daily experiences with the surroundings.
The interior layout follows a clean, linear concept that emphasizes vertical and horizontal lines. Artful lighting, materials, and textures bring the ideal living space to life. A raised, multi-purpose platform replaces the typical TV wall, creating a versatile area that serves as a reading nook, relaxation corner, and piano room, with a focus on family bonding.
A large, bespoke dining table anchors the living room, acting as a natural focal point. Adjacent, a sleek bar counter opens to the kitchen, seamlessly linking the two areas and enhancing the space’s flow and functionality. This thoughtful design fosters a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, encouraging togetherness and natural interaction.
The open, spacious design invites natural light and outdoor views through large glazing. The public areas are divided into two distinct zones: an open dining area replaces the traditional living room, while a raised platform creates a multi-purpose ‘washitsu’ that serves as both a study and piano room. This layout ensures a smooth flow while maintaining distinct functional zones, enhancing spatial depth. A restrained color palette creates a calm, uncluttered atmosphere, while curved lighting accents—on the ceiling, bar area, and beneath the washitsu—add an elegant, airy touch.
In the private areas, each family member’s needs are carefully considered. The couple enjoys dedicated workspaces and meditation corners, while the master bedroom features a wooden headboard panel with adjustable lighting. The boy’s room offers separate zones for play, reading, and sleep, creating a warm, inviting space that supports childhood development.
