Embracing the natural allure of materials such as stone and wood, this space radiates welcoming warmth and a sense of serene character. For the owner couple, both seasoned art lovers, each carefully designed element serves to highlight their curated art collections. The spatial narrative is defined by clean lines and subtle colors, allowing the essence and creativity of the artwork to pervade, while reflecting the owners' refined taste and a deeper connection to the space.
Nestled in Taipei's cultural and educational district, this 166-square-meter home is designed for a family of four, with a layout that includes three bedrooms and two living areas. The owners envisioned a serene, unadorned environment that blends natural textures and cozy warmth. To better complement their passion for collecting authentic artworks, the design draws inspiration from Scandinavian simplicity, emphasizing harmony, tranquility, and comfort in both function and flow. Wood elements create a subtle backdrop, while special attention is given to areas dedicated to art display. The designer explains, 'Inspired by the creative spirit of the artworks, the design aims to elevate both the cultural and sensory experience of living,' creating a space where art and life converge, connecting with nature and expressing a personal sense of style.
