The project is located in Nanan, a millennium-old hometown of overseas Chinese in Quanzhou City, China, which is known as the "Seaside Zoulu" and boasts a superior geographical location as the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road. With a vision to create a spatial atmosphere that "integrates humans with nature, rises from and is beautified by mountains and rivers," the designer aims to convey a unique lifestyle of "seeking a sanctuary for the spirit." The entire space is based on dark wooden veneers, stones, and antique bronze stainless steel, cleverly incorporating the ink-wash painting atmosphere of "Misty Rain in Jiangnan" from traditional Chinese aesthetics into the marble, adding a splash of brightness to the space. Meanwhile, the texture of the furniture, the quality of the fabric, and the powerful feel of the paintings together form a subtle contrast in spatial colors, creating an elegant and luxurious spatial atmosphere.
