This project is located in a mountainous area rich in natural beauty and features a multi-functional facility comprising a bookstore, a restaurant, and a private guest house. To ensure harmonious integration with its environment, the designer adopted a modern minimalist aesthetic, utilizing simple materials and earthy tones in the decor. The design approach emphasizes minimal disruption to the landscape by embedding the structure within the terrain, thus allowing it to blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings and creating a visually cohesive impact. The owner envisions a building that harmoniously coexists with nature while being both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The designer carefully selected materials and colors, integrating thoughtful layouts and clean lines to create a practical space for visitor enjoyment. The design prioritizes environmental sustainability, focusing on resource efficiency and minimizing ecological impact. By emphasizing user-friendly environmental quality, it goes beyond aesthetics and functionality, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere that aligns with sustainable practices. This project features a striking appearance where rough concrete is paired with geometric lines that intersect at right angles, emphasizing a natural and authentic texture. The large transparent glass facade helps to blur the lines between indoors and outdoors, allowing natural scenery and light to flood in. Additionally, the design extensively utilizes natural materials like stone and wood, while incorporating curved structures that resonate with the surrounding environment and showcase local craftsmanship. This combination creates a strong humanistic aesthetic. The interior space of the first floor is characterized by a log ceiling and a gracefully curved staircase that incorporates warm tones. This design choice effectively balances the inherent coolness of the concrete, resulting in an inviting and uncomplicated atmosphere.
