Core Concept:

Inspired by the myth of “Phaethon’s Ascent,” this project symbolizes a journey toward light, hope, and emotional growth. As Phaethon aimed to harness the sun’s power,this space guides users—from children exploring emotions to adults seeking clarity—on a transformative path. Light becomes the central narrative, providing both physical orientation and emotional grounding. By integrating natural hues and dynamic lighting, the space nurtures introspection, calm,and healing.

Design Strategy:

A restorative palette of coral orange, tender green, and warm amber tones pairs with soft wood textures to create a harmonious, welcoming environment. Every material serves both aesthetic and functional purposes. Eco-friendly melamine board, chosen for its durability, ease of maintenance, and sustainability, replaces traditional stone. The reception desk,designed at a child-friendly height of 73 cm,fosters inclusivity by allowing young users to participate fully in the space.

Innovative Materials and Low-Carbon Design:

Melamine board enhances the project’s sustainability by offering scratch-resistant,fireproof, and low-maintenance surfaces while reducing environmental harm compared to natural stone extraction. This decision ensures a long-lasting, practical, and low-carbon design ideal for therapeutic use.

Ergonomics and User Experience:

The space is optimized for diverse age groups,with ergonomic tables tailored to school-aged children and lighting designed to support different activities,from focused study to play. Zones are carefully curated to offer sensory comfort and emotional support,ensuring a dynamic yet soothing environment.

Spatial Narrative:
