The 9,200-square-metre campus for the global IT and management consultant Accenture is located across two buildings in downtown Zurich. The campus blends functionality with vibrancy through intricate design, immersive branding, diverse spatial experiences, and sustainability. The result is an environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, and employee well-being.
Shaped by the rich history of the buildings it occupies, the campus bridges tradition and modernity. The historical elements, combined with the unique spirit of Accenture’s local team and the company’s global vision create a one-of-a-kind corporate campus at the heart of a vibrant city.
The workspaces are designed to encourage collaboration, exchange, and foster a sense of community, offering a variety of work and breakout spaces.
As early as the reception area, a striking light installation forms a sculptural centrepiece that imbues the space with creativity and motion. This sense of energy and fluidity is echoed across the floor, designed as a versatile space for reception, coworking, and events.
On the upper floors, shared workspaces in the open office alternate with focus rooms, distinct meeting rooms, adaptable collaboration areas as well as themed coffee points and kitchens. Each area is thoughtfully crafted for maximum functionality and practicality, while being aesthetically refined in every detail.
Seamless connectivity and spatial flow are achieved through creating a double-height reception area and inserting internal staircases. To give the staircases a purpose beyond mere passage, they are fully integrated into the office design as stepped seating by the coffee points and quieter niches tucked beneath the steps.
Aligned with Accenture's global environmental goals, the Zurich campus exemplifies a commitment to sustainability, utilising locally sourced and recycled materials alongside energy-efficient systems.
