With a touch of sweet cream infused into slightly bitter coffee, life undergoes an exciting transformation with the arrival of a new family member. The project is tailored to a couple preparing for the arrival of their newborn, choosing a new home as the place for their child's growth. The designer thoughtfully incorporated curved elements to minimize the risk of injury, carefully planned the layout, and created ample storage space. Most importantly, they also designed a dedicated learning area for the child. A home is more than just a place to live; it’s a warm and nurturing space, much like a fragrant cup of au lait, sweet and soothing.
The TV wall is a key feature. A ceiling beam was placed above the TV wall, and the designer skillfully incorporated it by dividing, reshaping, and reconstructing, using a curved frame to envelop the wall. Low-saturation artistic paint was applied to the wall, creating a harmonious visual effect. The cabinet, aligned with the curved frame, extends the continuity of the TV wall, making the overall aesthetic balanced and cohesive. Adjacent to the TV wall is a storage cabinet with a house silhouette, serving as the core of the social area. When the interior lights are on, it creates an irresistible urge to return home.
The ceiling features several large beams. The designer broke away from the sharp angles of traditional structure, outlining smooth and graceful curves along the beams. The intersecting curves, combined with soft and gentle lighting, evoke the warmth of a steaming cup of café au lait, perfectly setting the tone for a delightful day ahead.
