In a high-rise corner of the city resides the distinctive home of a bachelor. This space, blessed with natural light on three sides, was initially muted by the conventional layout of a pre-sale apartment. Under the theme “Chronicle Residence,” the design team reshaped the layout, transforming the original three-bedroom plan into a modern, minimalist home centered around its social area. With a foundation of low-saturation, cool gray tones, natural light takes center stage.
Here, light is not just a functional requirement but a vital element that sculpts the ambiance. Thoughtfully arranged light accents include the strip lighting at the entrance, abundant natural light in the living room, and transparent glass partitions in the study, all meticulously planned to harness the flow of light. This movement of light breathes life into the tranquil gray space, and as time passes, it composes a poetic symphony unique to this home, fulfilling the design’s intent behind the name "Chronicle Residence."
