VISION PERCEPTION Creation
In the open layout, the delicate sunshine streams in and creates a clear path of light. The transverse beams in the original layout are left bare intentionally to maximize vertical height and maintain a more generous visual depth. To make homeowner's dream house come true, the elegant and simple residence is built with hand-applied paints as the main design axis. The rustic yet refined texture brings back the original and pure nature of the space, allowing the mind to unwind gradually.
The hand-applied coating in beige grey color spreads out the main view of the TV wall, while the smooth dividing lines and the overlapping gradation of plaster marks create a balance of tension between order and disorder. A continuous material conceals the bedroom door, creating a minimalist look. Followed by a warm gray paint as a base for the canopy, a space is left blank for breathing to build an interior design that appears cohesive and unified.
By keeping only the essential equipment and removing over-decorated details, a place is given a sense of life and is transformed into a haven for rest and relaxation. One can appreciate the interplay of light and shadow, enjoy the gentle breeze, and feel the humidity of the air. To embrace the “less is more” design concept, the randomly placed furniture grants the homeowner the flexibility to switch the furniture arrangement to match the mood. Thus, a cozy and relaxing dwelling for everyday life is created.
