The beauty of the interior space is formulated by the designer’s effective planning of layout and movement, as well as the right configuration of light and shadow, color, and soft furnishings. The project was designed to analyze the living trajectory of the residents and the activity needs of the family pets to build a friendly environment where both the pets and the residents can live comfortably. Upon entering the room, the warm sunlight from the floor-to-ceiling windows creates a warm and pleasant atmosphere. Through the designer's ingenuity, the dining room, kitchen, and living room are integrated to expand the field of vision and enlarge the feeling of space with an open layout design. The public area is mainly decorated with warm wood and calm stone, combining warm and dark colors to create a calm and elegant space. In the interlinked dining and kitchen spaces, the designer uses the shades of color and the height difference of the ceiling to delineate the zones. The curved ceiling design and lighting combine to create a gradual light spectrum. In addition, the designer connects the cooking table, the center island, and the wood grain table to properly plan the limited square footage of space. In the living room, the stone TV wall introduces the elements of the mirror and dividing line, while the sofa back wall is presented with a color block design to add a sense of layering. For the owner's beloved cat, an exclusive cat room was created with storage cabinets and a cat jumping platform to provide a space for the family pet to rest and play. In addition, a sliding glass door was installed to allow the owner to observe the cat’s movement and avoid the danger of explosive impact while reducing the sense of isolation in the area. The large windows to the home gymnasium invoke abundant daylight, injecting vitality and energy into the space.
