This is an interior design project for a residence. After thorough discussions between the design team and the owner, it was decided that “where the light is, is where the heart is and where the body is.” As the design concept is planned, the overall area was planned. The design team hopes to create a light, soft and delicate atmosphere by incorporating the texture of natural light and shadow to satisfy the owners’ desire for a natural, bright, and relaxing living environment. In this way, the owners can enjoy a beautiful daily life. As soon as entering the interior, one will find the natural light is invoked through the white gauze curtain, reflecting with the clean white space and creating an airy and bright appearance. It is also embellished with metallic lines to outline a luxurious and elegant texture. In addition, a light gray fabric sofa adds a warm and soft atmosphere to the space. A unique patterned brick wall is added to the dining and kitchen area to add visual layers and accent while continuing the white base. Moving slowly to the private bedroom, the light earth tones are used as the main axis of the space, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere and providing the residents with a calm and stable sleeping experience. For this project, the designer uses simple and clean line panels, lacquered iron parts, crystal lamps, and carpet elements to create a space with a perfect blend of modern and classical aesthetics. Under a similar color configuration, the difference in material texture is used to create a hierarchy of details, combining natural light and shadow with the overall atmosphere to create a light, delicate, and refined living style and to construct the ideal living space for the owner.
