The vintage vibe is created through the use of old antique items to create a nostalgic but not outdated ambience. Curved design is used on the ceiling to present the visual effect of guiding the movement flow, further accentuated by complementing retro tiles, SPC flooring and grille elements. This allows the overall space to exude a Zen ambience; under the play of light and shadows, the space is shaped into a distinct look.
The overall space leverages antique objects to set the retro ambience of the space, complemented by modern Zen-style design vocabulary, such as wooden grilles and wooden blinds, thus creating a dialogue between space and people under the interplay of light and shadow, while the curved design of the solid wood veneer on the ceiling guides the movement flow and also makes the space flow with a soft and comfortable warmth. The flooring is made of terrazzo tiles to create a nostalgic and humanistic atmosphere, while the layout of the cabinets is made of white and wooden texture to give off an airy and layered texture. The Italian paint highlights the mottled texture of the space, and through the line lighting and indirect lighting, the Zen-like tranquility is etched in the space.
In the design process, through the adept use of antique objects as spatial decorations, we seek to express the sustainable spirit of loving and cherishing objects. The introduction of abundant natural light can also reduce the consumption of electricity, and the use of LED lights can achieve the effect of energy saving, so that the concept of environmental sustainability can be injected into daily life and contributing our part to conserving resources and protecting the environment.
