The design integrates the simplicity and natural elements of Scandinavian style with the tranquility embodied by wabi-sabi tranquility, culminating in a harmonious living space that fosters a peaceful coexistence with nature.

Emphasizing white space and simplicity, the design underscores the notions of "emptiness," "quietness," "nature," and "comfort."

In consideration of the Japandi style, the design team utilized natural and eco-friendly materials to plan two bedrooms, two living rooms, and two bathrooms for a couple and their pet dog. The design concept prioritized a simple, natural aesthetic while demonstrating respect for the environment. Incorporating the delicate texture of the wabi-sabi style and an open layout, the design not only preserved the simplicity and elegance of Scandinavian design but also established a tranquil and comfortable living environment through the use of environmentally sustainable materials.

Relevant to the design process, the team accommodated the space's height limitation, with a building height of 365cm and only 225cm clearance under the beam, by employing a curved design that concealed the beam and integrated the lamp line within it. This approach effectively established an elegant atmosphere, alleviating the sense of confinement and introducing a spatial interplay of light and darkness, thus creating a perceptible sense of hierarchy and depth.

Furthermore, the team removed the original kitchen wall and installed a functional bar while repurposing the second bedroom into a dressing room, augmented by thoughtful lighting design, thereby promoting an expansive and multilayered spatial impression.

Overall, the design harmonized Scandinavian simplicity and practicality by eliminating superfluous embellishments, thereby fostering a rejuvenated and luminous environment with a focus on functionality. Each design facet was of practical utility, ensuring comfort in daily living.
