Located in the Xuhui District of Shanghai, this 84㎡ apartment features three bedrooms and a living room, occupied by a couple and their two cats. The existing layout did not meet the homeowners' personalized needs, as they sought to maximize space efficiency while creating a natural and relaxed environment. Key challenges included disorganized pathways, wasted indoor space, and insufficient storage. In response, the spatial layout was thoroughly reimagined. Guided by the "Life Theater" design concept, the interior was skillfully restructured to enhance both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Through meticulous planning and a human-centered approach, the residence has been transformed into an ideal home that seamlessly blends functional elegance with emotional warmth. The design narrative connects seven major functional areas, fostering a harmonious coexistence between people, space, nature, and pets.
