Interior design communicates the personality of the occupant, reflects their aesthetics, and enhances their mental and emotional well being. This three story townhouse, nestled within a narrow site, serves as a
sanctuary where residents can release stress from work, enjoy quality time with family, and entertain friends. Suffusing a calm and tranquil atmosphere, the interior space is seamlessly interwoven by a continuity of black and white materials. While overall colors are controlled in monochrome shades, the interior design sustains a quiet transparency and imbues with free flow that penetrates throughout the
space. Starting from the doorway, the open space is paved with the deep color materials of marble, granite, and mineral paints. Touches of white are interspersed within the backdrop, adding depth and refinement
through subtle detailing. Additionally, the inclusion of mirror backsplashes and glass doors infuses the space with modern flair. An asymmetrical cabinet not only delineates the transition between the open space and the living and
dining areas but also conceals the unsightly eyesore from the massive structure of the stair stringer. Open shelving displays arts and collectibles, reflecting the occupant's tasteful lifestyle and elevating their social image. The deep grey color scheme extends into the bedrooms, where minimalistic decor further
enhances the space with a sense of sophistication and grace, away from any clustered or gloomy
impression.
