Light is dynamic, fluid, and appeals to emotions. Light can easily evoke inner voices in humans, influence their minds, and is the fundamental condition where all things are seen and revealed. Therefore, the use and expression of light are compulsory in living scenarios. This project explores natural light and interior lighting, with fixtures and circulation as the planning priorities, probing into the existence and interaction between light and living spaces. Employing minimalist forms reduces the necessity for decoration. Various lighting fixtures are used to open up shared spaces, bringing living areas closer to outdoor environments, fostering a dynamic relationship with nature and the coexistence of light.By removing previous partition walls next to the entrance, there’s a clear demarcation between the public and private areas, preserving the circulation flexibility and the openness to space. Undermining the decorative intentions on the main wall, the massive use of chicken wing wood veneer integrates necessary storage within concealed doors, presenting a minimalist form that exudes a natural feel and warmth. In the daytime, living sightlines extend directly to the patio and outdoor vistas, providing a spacious and comfortable living environment. As daylight diminishes over time, various light fixtures in different corners provide corresponding illumination and ambiance. time, various light fixtures in different corners provide corresponding illumination and ambiance. Meanwhile, a minimal number of Flos LED recessed light pans in the ceiling deliver even and sufficient indoor lighting. Breaking free from the decorative styling of typical interior design projects, the entire space is paved in low saturation gray and green tones. Overall materials such as paint, mirrors, and cabinets are interlaced and integrated with distinct lines, focusing attention on details like textiles, furniture, and light fixtures. Flexible decorative arrangements allow the space to showcase different appearances according to the seasons and preferences, sometimes appearing novel, sometimes retro, and thus contributing to the space's sustainability and environmental consciousness.
