Positioned as a premier property in downtown, this 248 square-meter apartment sustains a natural vibes throughout every corner. Leveraging on the neighboring mountainous vista from expansive windows, this project design aims to create an eclectic aesthetic by blending modern form, Oriental styles, and Continental impressions. Complying with the occupant’s fondness and reflecting the prestigious achievement in his career, abundant premium Myanmar teaks holistically adorn the walls, flooring, and furniture, suffusing a modernized contemporary ambiance.
As properties of a nature treasure, each timber possesses uniquely different colors among the logs. In order to harmonize color nuances of all teak batches, only 40 percent of best quality logs were selected, then meticulously sliced and restructured into new arrays of patterns. Intricate joinery craft works emerge in a sequentially refined arrangement. Paved with teak wall-cladding and marble chevron-pattern flooring parquet, the entrance incorporates multiple natural stones and suffuses a vibrant and elegant poise. Moving further, the shared area soaks in the cityscape and natural views through expansive windows. A floor-to-ceiling wood cabinet divides the living and dining areas, featuring geometric engravings and the five swivel screens that allow light to flow freely, maintaining flexible sightlines, either semi-open or completely separated, and fostering both interaction and individuality. In addition to teak, marble paneling lines the main wall inlaid with titanium metal trims in detail. A linear continuity harmonizes all materials, and unifies each area with clean forms and modern touches, culminating with a grandeur fusion of craftsmanship and multicultural influences.
