In the communal areas, the dynamic pose of an airplane in flight inspired our design language, transforming into wing-like forms across the ceiling. Different mirrored surfaces and lines enhance and extend the visual depth. Responding to the homeowners' needs, reconfigured the space, optimizing the flow and layout and introducing substantial side lighting fixtures. The living room, study, and balcony were seamlessly merged into one integrated and coherent space. For the balcony space, we chose to recess the balcony inward, naturally drawing the mountain scenery into the interior. By maintaining the same floor height and using metal frames, we achieved a visual continuity while optimized the space for natural light and ventilation. This not only meets the daytime lighting needs but also the open terrace functions to naturally regulate indoor temperature and humidity. The entire house employs concealed doors to maintain a consistent stylistic tone while considering the homeowners' need for privacy. In the kitchen and dining area, an open-plan design featuring a natural stone central kitchen island caters to hosting and social interactions. Across from the entryway, a large display cabinet showcases the homeowner's personal ceramic art, eflecting their refined taste and aesthetic appreciation. The color palette throughout the home employs warm tones of black, white and gray, with wood and glass as primary materials. The meticulous carpentry creates unconventional angles in the ceiling, with the direction of the wood grains subtly delineating the functional areas.
