In this exclusive residential project, the designer prioritizes the needs and preferences of the homeowner, infusing the space with the distinctive LOFT industrial style while incorporating modern living functionalities. The result is a retro-inspired yet practical residential space, carefully designed to optimize the limited square footage. Through the use of an open layout, sliding doors, and strategic placement of TV walls, the designer has created a unique interior that not only saves space but also provides a comfortable and bright living environment for the residents.
Upon entering the living room, one's attention is immediately drawn to the stable and mysterious navy blue back wall of the sofa. This is complemented by warm wood grain cabinets, seamlessly integrating intellectual warmth into the cold industrial style. The TV wall is covered with dark gray water-molded paint, showcasing the natural texture of stone, creating a perfect blend with the tone of the entire space. Adding to the ambiance, modeling lamps, black metal parts, and vintage airplane clocks highlight a warm and simple atmosphere, meeting the homeowner's expectations of richness. Due to space constraints, an open-plan dining room design was adopted, allowing for versatility and functionality beyond dining, catering to activities such as office work, reading, and social interaction with friends and family. Furthermore, the kitchen is equipped with a sliding barn door, saving on space and contributing to the rugged, rustic look that seamlessly integrates into the overall industrial style.
In response to the homeowner's desire for a versatile space that could serve as both a storage room and guest accommodation, the designer ingeniously repurposed the TV wall to create a multifunctional room that maximized space efficiency. To optimize storage, side cabinets were cleverly integrated beneath a raised floor, effectively utilizing previously overlooked areas.
