"Without visiting Nanxun, how can one truly appreciate the charm of the Jiangnan region?" This project, located in Nanxun of Huzhou, embodies that sentiment. The designer employs minimalist and inclusive design language to balance the independence and harmonious coexistence of each architectural space. With a steadfast vitality, they delve deeply into the layers of life, infusing every space with opulence and vibrancy.

Before refurbishment, the layout was simple and linear, with architectural spaces relatively separated. The designer utilized space, nature, light, shadow, and circulation as structural elements, adopting contemporary minimalist design approach to maximize the sense of spatial sequence. Every inch of space pulses with the vitality and rhythm of life, creating a fresh, tranquil, and harmonious living atmosphere.

The designer boldly altered the architectural structure and circulation, introducing a winding entry way, natural landscapes, and enhancing the building composition and form horizontally. Upon entering the foyer, a horizontal corridor leads to dual circulations on the left and right, allowing residents to freely access every corner of the space.

Indoors, the designer skillfully interconnects each area with the corridor as the axis, achieving spatial integration. Large glass windows expand the view, allowing daylight and scenery to flow into the room, reshaping the relationship between the interior and the natural environment. The interplay of light and shadow enhances the depth of space, resulting in a comfortable living experience.

The cantilevered structure of  living room introduces dynamic spatial changes, echoing the open void area on the lower level. A hanging crystal chandelier adorns the space, compensating for the upper area's emptiness. High windows offer views of the courtyard waterscape outside.
