Project Description
The Changfeng Stinky Mandarin Fish Restaurant at Xi'an Yanxiang Plaza, with a total area of 900m², was designed and executed by "YEENIAN Design". As the first outlet of the brand's 4.0 image upgrade, this project deeply integrates the cultural essence of "Hui Xiang Qing" (the nostalgia for Anhui Province). Through modern abstract design techniques, it reshapes a dining space that blends tradition with modernity, aiming to provide customers with a dual feast for the eyes and the soul while they savor the delicious food.

Functional and Design Challenges
Within limited space, achieving optimal coexistence and design of dining, resting, and cultural functions posed a significant challenge for this project. The design team ingeniously utilized the outdoor platforms on the east and west sides to expand the dining area while ensuring a harmonious transition between indoors and outdoors. The full daylighting design on the east side and partial daylighting on the west side not only optimized the utilization of natural light but also created a warm and bright dining atmosphere. Furthermore, integrating modern aesthetics and functional requirements while preserving the cultural characteristics of Huizhou style became the crux of the design.

Technology and material innovation
The project's innovative application of technology and materials is remarkable. The brick-red sculpture, designed to imitate the shape of mountains, utilizes high-precision sculpting techniques to perfectly reproduce the grandeur of Mount Huang and the delicacy of Huizhou-style architecture, becoming the visual focal point of the entire space. The selection of surface materials, furniture, and decorative lighting strictly adheres to the principles of environmental protection, artistry, simplicity, and elegance, reflecting the brand's pursuit of quality while also demonstrating the design's respect for the environment.
