Threading the needle with "spaciousness," this design weaves together architectural volume, temporality, tranquility, and a sense of expansiveness. It blends industrial style with modern, clean lines, endowing a 1,122 sq ft space with the grandeur and dimensionality of a mansion, allowing for a serene urban living experience.

To cultivate spatial awareness, we extended the circulation path to create the most open sightlines possible. A reductive design approach was implemented throughout the public areas.

Living room with its clean lines, is equipped with a laser projector and sound system. TV wall is crafted from microcement and tiles. As sunlight falls on microcement walls, the interplay of light and shadow, along with layering effect, showcases a sense of time as daylight shifts.

The most eye-catching focal point in space is undoubtedly the bespoke, one-of-a-kind wine cabinet. Inspired by bistros, this custom-built premium wine cabinet not only displays the owner's extensive wine collection and provides storage but also features temperature control and multi-layered glass to prevent condensation. The thoughtful sliding door design saves space in terms of circulation and usage by eliminating the need for swing space.

In terms of architectural volume expression, storage has been masterfully integrated into the overall mass. Also in the large volume that integrates shoe cabinet, storage counter, pantry, guest bathroom, and prep counter near entrance. The custom-made desk and dining table, connected by forest-green vintage tiles, all incorporate volumetric elements cleverly arranged within the space.

The desk, personally designed by designer, intentionally separates the table legs to mimic the spacing between buildings in a city, echoing urban view outside the window.

The dining table, integrated with kitchen island, is another bespoke design by the designer. It is supported by volumes of different sizes and features the same forest-green vintage tiles as desk.
