This project involves a holistic redesign aimed at maximizing spatial efficiency while catering to the needs of a single occupant in a compact home. The design emphasizes a tranquil and sophisticated ambiance, defined by muted tones and minimalist aesthetics. It delivers optimum space flexibility and enhances spatial perception through seamless, open pathways. The carefully chosen "milk tea gray" color accent establishes a cohesive three-dimensional flow. Tailor-made solutions for living, work and storage are integrated to ensure complete functionality and adaptability throughout the space.
The entry foyer features a wall-mounted waist-high console with a backlit folded edge design that reduces the visual bulk of the tall storage cabinet. This element cleverly guides the eye toward the interior, subtly resolving feng shui concerns. The main living space is organized around a TV pony wall and an island dining table, setting the rhythm for daily activities. The pony wall doubles as a display cabinet and divides the living room from the multifunctional study area. The island connects to a 2.7-meter dining table, surrounded by circulation paths that enhance movement, whether for social gatherings or solo dining. In the bedroom, a discreet drop-down projection screen near the window offers entertainment before sleep, while a soft 90-degree wall panel with indirect lighting next to the bed gently releases calming energy, providing a soothing retreat for body and mind.
