The resort is situated in a serene valley within the Zhougong Mountain Scenic Area of Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, China. The project is substantially influenced by the wild rose industry, contributing to an architectural design that emphasizes the vibrancy and liveliness of roses through the arrangement of building clusters. Additionally, the organic integration of the village layout confers the structures an appearance of naturally emerging from the valley. The distinctive light rose hue of the buildings resembles blooming roses in the valley, as if the roses were giving a warm welcome for visitors from afar. At the heart of the village lies a 400-year-old hot spring. The gentle steam infuses the project with an enchanting, fairy-tale texture. The specially designed hot spring pavilion on the roof offers privacy and an air of mystery, allowing guests to experience the most authentic form of hot spring bathing. The design aims to harmonize seamlessly with the surrounding mountains and plant cover, establishing an ideal platform for exploring the ecological characteristics and savoring the unique essence of Sichuan. If we take a look from the river valley, the hotel structure integrates with the mountainous landscape, intertwining with the natural surroundings during the day and blending with the ambient lights and starry sky at night. The planning design prioritizes environmental considerations, ensuring a rational distribution of infrastructure and taking effective energy-saving and emission-reduction strategies to minimize ecological impact and achieve an ultimate balance between environmental stewardship and the development of the resort project.
