The homeowner has a clear preference for colors and styles. The space is rendered in pure black, white, and gray, maintaining a minimalist and understated elegance with compromising depth. However, considering there are children in the family, the designers incorporated moderate warm light sources and contrasting materials to create a soft balance within the cool base tone. Reflective surfaces are used in the details, making the space dazzle like a brilliant Milky Way. To meet the functional needs of everyday life, ample storage design has also been a focal point in the planning.
The TV wall in the living room is undoubtedly the highlight of the space, based on a large area of marble that mimics the texture of a starry sky, accompanied by black mirrors and metal trim panels on the sides, creating visual depth. The details of curved metal film covering wood panels break the rigidity of straight-line structures, and the wavy curve design lends a flowing aesthetic to the overall space. The smooth curves, as if embraced by the space, shed the constraints of the black, white, and gray color scheme.
Additionally, the design of the kitchen island perfectly embodies the fusion of practicality and aesthetics. One side serves as an appliance cabinet, while the other is intentionally recessed to facilitate the storage of baby strollers and shopping bags, ensuring smooth circulation. The entrance hall features a full wall of storage cabinets paired with indirect lighting, creating a clean and sleek atmosphere.
