“Capture the most beautiful sunlight and fold it into the space’s delicate creases.” The project began as a semi-empty space, where the designer analyzed the direction of natural light and incorporated the homeowner’s preference for curves and American-style elements. Fluid, ribbon-like forms were introduced between the ceiling, walls, and floor, creating a flowing architectural language that allows residents to enjoy perfectly diffused daylight and an expansive living environment.
Creases serve as the highlight, concealing ceiling beams within their folds. Softly curved chamfered edges extend the vertical perception of the space, while irregular curves along the TV wall generate a dynamic visual effect.
In the finer details, the light-toned space is enriched by sculpted stone textures, adding layers of depth and sophistication to the purity of the space.
