The residence was originally two separate units, but since the homeowners—a family of four—required fewer rooms, they decided to merge the two spaces. The design philosophy behind this project is minimalistic yet meaningful: to create a home that embraces both family and pets. Thoughtful layout planning, material selection, and lighting design ensure a harmonious and functional living experience.
To enhance flexibility and circulation, two entrances were preserved, allowing access to the elevator hall from both sides of the residence, improving convenience and circulation. The homeowners desired a Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic infused with subtle luxury, which is elegantly expressed through gold accents in hardware, lighting fixtures, door handles, and wall hooks, adding a touch of refinement and elegance.
The name “Poodle Home” is derived from “Poodle”, symbolizing the family’s beloved pet Mumu, an integral part of the home’s design. The word “Jing” (璟) represents the radiance of fine jade, while “Yu” (域) signifies the space. Together, the name conveys the essence of a sophisticated and elegant residence, blending luxury and comfort to create a refined yet inviting dream home.
