This unit is a warm family of four. As the family members grow up, the storage and space need to be improve.
The biggest feature of this residence is the extra-large floor-to-ceiling windows nearby to the balcony, offering a panoramic view of the entire Victoria Harbor. Sunlight makes people full of passion and vitality, and sunlight can also become a beautiful scenery for the home. Moreover, the sunlight changes with noon and evening, creating different atmospheres in the home at different times.
The designer aims on introducing more natural light, allowing it penetrate naturally, reducing the artificial light sources of indoor, and at the same time reducing energy consumption. He also makes full use of the windows in the living and dining rooms and each room to increase the light entering the house. Natural sunlight at different times which combined with light-colored or reflective materials to create a visual effect that amplifies the space and increases its transparency.
The kitchen is the most important center of a home and the most frequently used place. It is also the space that many housewives value most. In order to be considerate of users, the thoughtful kitchen design should be increase the effective, and also allows housewives to gain a full sense of accomplishment during the cooking process.
Therefore, the designer slightly changed the kitchen layout for the owner, improving the cooking process movement and adding a large amount of storage to make cooking more convenient and efficient.
In addition to the aesthetics of a dream home, more importantly, the storage and living functions must meet the expectations of the owner and family members. Therefore, the designer also takes care of the needs of each family member and improves more private spaces in each room.
