"Bai Lu" (White Dew) originates from the traditional East Asian solar terms, marking the onset of mid-autumn when glistening dewdrops form at dawn. These translucent droplets symbolize a fleeting yet precious purity—a reminder to cherish the present and find tranquility within our living spaces.

Spatial Strategy & Sustainable Light
The design prioritizes the preservation of natural light. By strategically reconfiguring the partitions between the master and secondary bedrooms with a sculptural sloped storage wall, the firm established a seamless circulation path that doubles as an efficient storage solution. This architectural gesture acts as a conduit for horizontal airflow, ensuring exceptional cross-ventilation and daylight penetration. This strategy significantly minimizes reliance on artificial lighting and air conditioning, reducing the ecological footprint while enhancing the comfort of natural living.

The Harmony of Domestic Life
Inspired by the homeowner’s passion for baking and botany, the open-plan living and dining area serves as the heart of the home—cleverly intertwining the joy of cinema, the quietude of writing, and the aroma of culinary arts. The space fosters family synergy: while the mother prepares meals at the kitchen island and the children focus at their desks, the father enjoys family time in the living room. Each member remains within sight of one another, cultivating an environment where individual activities and collective happiness coexist.

Sustainable Aesthetics
To ensure pristine indoor air quality, zero-VOC materials were selected throughout the residence. Like the morning dew that nourishes life without a speck of dust, "White Dew" embodies a philosophy of care—extending from the family unit to a profound reflection on our planet's future. It stands as a testament that a private residence can be a benchmark for sustainable aesthetics, bringing profound, holistic well-being to its inhabitants.
