This newly built empty apartment in Xizhi serves a family of four, addressing dual needs: focused work and familial interaction. The layout was redesigned from scratch to emphasize spatial connection and emotional resonance. Living room, dining area, kitchen island, and glass-enclosed study form a fluid circuit, where movement and sightlines strengthen relational bonds.
The ceiling design is a central highlight: mineral finishes, arc-shaped lighting, and curved ceiling elements offer guidance and rhythm. Curved forms are repeated across cabinetry, display niches, partitions, and structural lines—softening mass while adding visual layering. A warm gray and beige palette, enhanced by natural textures, creates a calm, ordered atmosphere. In a balance of structure and warmth, the design embodies a quiet, transparent, and modern way of living.
