This project is conceived around the brand’s positioning as the leading name in resort and travel apparel, with themes of luxury, resort, and joy.
The design draws inspiration from a “Venetian Montage,” extracting cultural imagery from the Rialto Bridge and the light and shadow of the water city. These references are abstracted into façade rhythms, ceiling lines, and floor textures, creating an airy, contemporary expression that avoids superficial replication.
Unlike conventional apparel stores focused only on display and fitting, this space introduces modular micro-scenarios such as light cycling, hiking, beach, and camping. Each scenario immerses customers in the lifestyle connected to the clothing, shifting the experience from “seeing garments” to “feeling ways of living.”
The design addressed three challenges. First, limited mall space was managed with modular planning and transparent partitions, ensuring clear separation while maintaining openness. Second, strict façade restrictions were resolved through a lightweight linear framework integrating the brand’s slogan and heritage marker, while concealing functional elements like fire hydrants. Third, materials were carefully balanced: metals and matte stone express luxury, while gauze, glass, and eco-veneer convey lightness. Local sourcing, modular reuse, and recyclable finishes strengthened sustainability.
Ultimately, the project achieves innovation on two levels: elevating the retail experience through immersive, scenario-based storytelling, and integrating cultural expression in a refined, systematic way. It upgrades the store from a sales outlet into a lifestyle showcase that resonates emotionally with young, experience-driven consumers. The result demonstrates how restraint, cultural depth, and sustainability can converge to create a commercial space where brand values and customer journeys meet seamlessly.
