Located in the city center, the residence enjoys a rare 270-degree panoramic view connecting urban skyline, park landscape and river scenery. Guided by the concept of “Eastern Restraint × French Elegance,” the design seeks a calm, timeless and orderly spatial expression by integrating city, nature and everyday life into one coherent living environment.

The 360-square-meter interior is organized with a clear spatial hierarchy from public to private areas. The living room, dining room and multi-purpose space form an open yet layered public zone that fully embraces the surrounding landscape, while the kitchen emphasizes efficiency and integrated storage. The private areas focus on comfort, relaxation and diverse living scenarios including daily life, social interaction and retreat.

A black-and-white palette defines the overall tone, complemented by stone, stainless steel, antique mirrors and mother-of-pearl finishes. Reflective and metallic surfaces are used to extend spatial perception without increasing physical volume, allowing light and scenery to overlap and flow throughout the interior. Subtle accents of regional blue transform local identity into a restrained poetic expression.

The key design strategy lies in turning the panoramic view from a mere backdrop into the core organizing logic of the interior. A continuous visual axis runs through the main public spaces, deeply drawing the landscape into the interior and redefining spatial order, where circulation, sightlines and daylight are highly integrated. The multi-purpose space is inspired by the traditional Chinese screen, balancing openness and separation while enabling flexible use. Rather than pursuing visual impact, the project emphasizes precise control of proportion, order, light and materiality to create a residence that is open, layered and sustainable for long-term living.
