Tomi Locker is a smart urban marketplace platform that materializes digital commerce into secure, accessible and context-aware physical infrastructure. Conceived as an extension of connected city ecosystems, the system transforms public space into an intelligent distribution layer that bridges online services, local businesses and everyday urban life.

At its core, Tomi Locker operates as a modular network of IoT-enabled locker units integrated with a centralized digital platform. The system enables secure storage, retrieval and exchange of goods through authenticated, contactless interaction. Users access the service via a connected interface that generates unique credentials, ensuring efficiency, traceability and trust. The physical and digital components operate as a unified system, designed to minimize friction while maximizing clarity and reliability.

Unlike conventional locker solutions that function solely as delivery endpoints, Tomi Locker is positioned as an urban marketplace node. It supports local commerce, municipal services and community-driven initiatives by offering a scalable infrastructure that adapts to different urban densities and use cases. Its modular architecture allows flexible configuration, enabling deployment in transit hubs, public squares, residential districts or mixed-use developments.

The design prioritizes human-centered interaction and contextual integration. Visual communication, interface hierarchy and spatial presence were developed to ensure intuitive engagement across diverse user groups. Accessibility principles guided the interaction flow, reducing cognitive load and enabling straightforward operation regardless of digital proficiency.

From a technological perspective, the system integrates secure access protocols, remote monitoring capabilities and data-informed management tools. These features allow operators to optimize performance while maintaining robust security standards. The hardware architecture was engineered
