Inspired by The Access Group’s empowering slogan, “Freedom to Do More,” the design vision for the new Ho Chi Minh City office centers on creating a workplace that liberates people to think, collaborate, innovate, and grow. Moving beyond conventional corporate planning, the concept draws inspiration from a community neighbourhood, where movement is fluid, interactions are organic, and spaces feel connected yet purposeful.
At the heart of the design is a network of interlinked neighbourhoods, offering flexible meeting points that support focused work, collaboration, and informal exchanges. These communal nodes echo the dynamic street life of Vietnam, encouraging spontaneous interaction and fostering a culture of openness. Breakout areas introduce accents of Vietnam’s vibrant colours, decorative lighting, and textures, celebrating local identity while giving the workplace a strong sense of place. Amid the energy of these shared spaces, quiet zones and single-seater work pods provide areas for deep focus and uninterrupted work.
Sustainability is embedded in the earliest design decisions. Healthy materials, including low-VOC paints and adhesives, are specified to protect indoor air quality and support long-term well-being. Biophilic elements, such as moss walls and greenery, further enhance the environment by naturally purifying air through the building’s condensation system, providing a passive, self-sustaining solution.
Human-centric design principles guide spatial planning, lighting, and furniture selection, including height-adjustable workstations, ergonomic seating, and thoughtful amenities such as a mother’s room and power-nap room. The completed office reflects The Access Group’s ethos — a workplace that supports wellness, encourages collaboration, and gives people the freedom to do more.
