This project encompasses the design of a nearly 330-square-meter duplex penthouse residence that demands a comprehensive renovation following twelve years of occupancy. Central to this endeavor is the guiding theme of “connecting generations while preserving independence.” This vision manifests through an exquisite blend of modern precision and refined humanistic elegance. To achieve this, the design utilizes spatial reconfiguration, material harmony, and atmospheric lighting, deftly weaving in elements of Eastern philosophical thought. These influences are expressed in subtle yet profound details, creating living spaces that seamlessly balance ceremonial grandeur with the comforts of everyday life. Moreover, the plan emphasizes a clear delineation between public and private zones, effectively marrying the opulence of a luxury residence with practical functionality. As a result, the interplay of natural light, carefully considered proportions, and refined cultural elegance culminates in a living experience that harmoniously integrates shared and private spaces—exuding both luxury and warmth, inviting residents and guests alike to find serenity within its embrace.

At its heart, a dark stone feature wall elegantly frames an art sculpture, offering an understated yet inviting welcome. Flowing seamlessly from this focal point, the public area boasts an open design enhanced by expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that delicately flood the space with natural light. Transitioning smoothly from the seating area, built-in cabinets discreetly delineate the passage to the dining area, adding both functionality and style. Above, a circular pendant light adorned with double-opening, feather-like shades flutters gracefully, reminiscent of a butterfly's wings. This fixture casts soft, non-glaring illumination, creating a warm glow that enhances the ambiance.
